We are looking for a Lecturer who has the ability to teach and assess in front of house hospitality, both practical and theory in college and the workplace environment. You must be an experienced and qualified hospitality professional with recent experience of teaching over the full range of NVQ qualifications. Ideally you will also have experience training and assessing hospitality apprentices up to level 3. A good working knowledge of the new apprentice Standards is also essential.

To be suitable for this role the applicant must be a motivated, positive person with the drive to maintain our high standards. You will have qualifications, teaching and assessing experience in hospitality and management and be familiar with the content of the NVQ and Apprentice Standards. You will be responsible for a caseload of apprentice learners in their teaching, learning and assessment to exceptional standards and maintain accurate records. You will also work as part of the work-based learning team within the Hospitality, Hair and Beauty Faculty of Exeter College.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Thursday 27th September 2018 at midnight.

Interviews will be held on Friday 5th October 2018 in Exeter.

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure by the DBS.
