BE PART OF DELIVERING ATLANTIC EXPERIENCES
UWC Atlantic is at the heart of a powerful global movement and at the vanguard of progressive education worldwide. We are proud to be a part of the UWC family of 18 schools and colleges worldwide – and for our courage to champion the values, ideas and aspirations in which we all believe. We are driven by the UWC mission to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. It drives everything we do.
Atlantic Experience will play a key part of our exciting and ambitious strategy to reclaim our position as the Flagship College of the UWC movement, recognised for the radical and experimental spirit that defines our history and drives our impact on the world.
Our aim is to provide a high quality experience and service that is not only mission aligned but considered sector leading in line with the context and location of the founding UWC. Over the next 5 years, we will actively develop existing programmes and expand our operation, introducing new initiatives and revenue streams as well as exploring a range of exciting options to offer.
The team will deliver a wide and diverse range of activities, events, adventure education, residential programmes, weddings and conferences, all of which will be to an exceptional standard of quality and service.
Our activity will be focused on, but not limited to, activities that are aligned with the UWC mission and values and which are educational.
We need to recruit a first class team to support our ambitious plans; individuals who are passionate and driven, and who have the desire and determination to source, market, sell and deliver superb experiences for all our guests and visitors.
Responsible for managing and actively driving the sales of products, services and programmes delivered by the team, you are able to effectively plan and implement all marketing initiatives to ensure that we maintain a positive image within the communities we serve, whilst also achieving commercial and social objectives to maximum effect.
Your experience in this field mean that you are confident to develop and implement a sales strategy and site-specific marketing and promotional plans for Atlantic Experience (and the products / facilities within its portfolio) to enhance and maximise sales creating ‘in demand’ products and services.
Creative, driven and ambitious, you will excel at designing and delivering all appropriate point of sale, leaflets and supporting material in line with promotional and marketing campaigns. Your natural curiosity will enable you to undertake extensive research to further understand the gaps in the market and to also allow our existing products to maximise potential.
Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to maintain a close working relationship with appropriate key partners and stakeholders, ensuring that all information is produced in a timely manner in accordance with brand guidelines and parameters. In addition, you will develop ongoing social media platforms engagement with all stakeholders, providing training, guidance and motivating all the team about their role in ongoing sales.
