Base: Hetton Academy, North Road, Hetton le Hole, DH5 9JZ

Northern Education Trust is a not-for-profit education charity, operating within the North East and North West of England, and works with schools by invitation only. It was formed in 2012 and currently sponsors 22 Academies – 10 primary and 12 secondary – making it one of the largest Multi Academy Trusts in the North of England. All of the Trust’s primary schools are rated either Good or Outstanding by Ofsted, as are all the Trust’s secondary schools which have been inspected whilst sponsored by NET.

Hetton Academy are seeking to appoint an Attendance and Cover Manager to join the team from September. The successful candidate will lead the academy attendance team in providing operational and administrative support to promote whole academy attendance strategies, to improve attendance and persistent absence in line with academy targets. They will also organise the staff cover required each day to ensure appropriate staff are allocated to the right lessons where required to support students.
