Salary: SO2 (TTO + 5 days)
Actual Salary £24,468-£25,901

The post is subject to the successful applicant completing a 6 month probationary period.
The successful candidate will provide a first class service for the academy. Working as part of the Pastoral Team, we are looking to appoint an Attendance and Family Support Officer who:
- Is a compassionate individual with a practical approach to providing support and challenge the punctuality and attendance of our students
- Has a positive and flexible approach
- A person who can communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality
- Is tenacious and does not stop until the required outcome is achieved.
The purpose of this post is to analyse and identify student absences and take appropriate action to support students/ parent/carers to and from the academy. We feel very strongly that young people need to be educated in the widest sense of the word, including an understanding of the impact of their attendance on their academic achievements.
The ability to work independently and with initiative is essential, as are the skills required to be a successful team player in a fast-paced environment. A positive outlook, and the ability to work under pressure with an appreciation of confidentiality is very important.
