As our Attendance Monitoring Administrator, you will provide a professional, customer focused point of contact for all students and staff regarding the College’s attendance policy and procedure.

Managing the attendance monitoring process, including the setting up and maintenance of relevant databases and the recording of reasons for absence, you will monitor student attendance and respond accordingly in line with College regulations. You will contact students and their parents by both telephone, email, text and in person to find out reasons for non-attendance and support in sending agreed letters in a timely manner. You will also liaise with the tutors of the students with poor attendance and produce timely reports for the School Management Team, through the use of our electronic reporting systems.

We’re looking for an individual who has a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, who is a good team member, can adapt to change and is flexible, and who can prioritise own workload as well as assist with the work of others when required. You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers and have a fantastic track record of delivering the highest standards of customer service.

With good general IT skills, including familiarity with internal MIS systems, internet applications and MS Office, you will have strong administrative skills and the ability to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines. Qualifications relevant to a career in administration and/or customer service are desirable, but not essential.
