Responsible to the NPA Assistant Principal for Safeguarding & Complex Needs
Due to the expansion of this successful and heavily oversubscribed Academy, we are looking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic Attendance Officer.
The role will be to build upon our success by monitoring punctuality and attendance across the school, and working to raise the attendance levels of individual students and cohorts of students. The role will include liaising with students, staff, parents and other external support agencies as necessary along with the administration and oversight of our attendance systems. In addition, the successful candidate will devise and implement strategies for improving the attendance of those whose attendance causes concern, including initiating and leading on any legal processes as required.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative and vibrant Academy. If you want to work with wonderful students, committed staff and a forward thinking leadership team, this is the Academy for you. September 2018 saw the opening of our new £7m extension, allowing us to increase our admissions number by 2 forms of entry as a result of the popularity of the Academy and the increasing demand for places.
Nene Park Academy is proud to be part of the Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust which has 12 academies across 4 different counties. This is an exciting time for the partnership. Having already made significant impact on progress and achievement, the academy is the school of first choice and a source of pride for its local community.

Interviews will be held on 7 June 2019.
