Birmingham Ormiston Academy is a 14-19 specialist arts academy sponsored by The Ormiston Trust and Birmingham City University. Our founding partners are Maverick TV and the BRIT School. The academy continues to develop new partnerships from business and industry who are offering high levels of support, investment and opportunity for both students and staff.
The academy opened in September 2011 with approximately 325 students in Year 12. We now have over 1000 students on academy roll with over 700 at Post-16 and over 300 at KS4.
We are seeking to appoint a well organised, committed and enthusiastic individual to ensure the effective and efficient completion of attendance and administration activities within the Academy.
The position will be located in the Pastoral Office to support the daily running of the Academy. Activities will include the day to day attendance registration, maintaining student data systems, analysing data and preparing reports, supporting the Pastoral Office, plus a full range of administrative duties to support all areas of the academy.
We are keen to attract proactive individuals with excellent IT skills who can meet deadlines and complete tasks to the highest standards. You will have excellent communication skills, experience dealing with young people and a good attention to detail.
