Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School is a successful, oversubscribed school with 1,914 students on roll including 378 in the Sixth Form. It is situated close to the centres of Sheffield and Chesterfield on the edge of the Peak District National Park.
The Governors wish to appoint an Attendance Officer to work alongside the pastoral teams to respond to, and assist in implementing student and family engagement strategies to improve the attendance, punctuality and welfare of all students and to support students whose education is at risk due to poor or declining attendance.

Founded in the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, the 'Ancient Free School of Dronfield' has evolved over the last 440 years, to become a forward thinking and dynamic comprehensive school firmly rooted in the heart of the Dronfield community.
