We have a position vacant for an Attendance Officer

Position 35 hours per week and term time only (39 weeks) plus 5.3 weeks holiday pay

Redden Court School is an oversubscribed, successful converter Academy which has served the local community of Harold Wood for many years, providing a high quality education for the students of this area.

Our school motto is ‘Committed to Success for all’ and we seek to achieve the very best for our students through a rich variety of educational approaches of technology.

We had a recent OFSTED inspection in September 2016 and our school was rated as good. The OFSTED team commented on how the school has ‘created an inclusive community where pupils and staff relate well to each other’ and how students are ‘enthusiastic about coming to school to learn.’

Our results in 2016 were the best ever with 75% of students achieving 5 GCSE’s at A* to C including English and Maths.

The school has been approved by the Department of Education to lead a Multi Academy Trust.

We wish to appoint an Attendance Officer to provide administrative support to the pastoral team and to fulfil statutory requirements in relation to monitoring maintaining and reporting attendance of our students.

We are looking for someone who has a positive approach, resilient, can prioritise and manage workload and can deal with students which may have a range of differing needs. The successful candidate must have an approachable manner and recent experience of working with young people or within a school environment would be desirable.

The title Attendance Officer highlights the need for this role to encompass all work in relation to the attendance of students at Redden Court School to support them to reach their potential.
