Grade: APTC 3, points 14-17 

Salary: £18,657 - £19,623 pro rata (£14,309 - £15,050 actual salary)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated, flexible and organised individual who would like the opportunity to be an Attendance Officer to work full time, term time only hours.

The successful applicant will be organised, hard-working, an effective communicator and will be able to use ICT efficiently. Duties will include monitoring student absence, following up absences with parents, liaising with the Pastoral Team and the EWO to secure good attendance.

With experience of working as an Attendance Officer or similar role the successful candidate will promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture within the school.

You will be required to work with key personnel in school and other external agencies. Applicants will need to be adaptable, creative and flexible and have organisational skills. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.

The Royal Liberty School is a small school for boys situated on a very pleasant Grade II listed site. The school is in an excellent location, a short walk from the main line Gidea Park station.

We have received confirmation that we will receive funding through the Priority Schools Building Programme and are looking forward to using this to enhance the education we provide for our students.

This post is exempt from the provision of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and , the successful applicant will be expected to undertake an enhanced disclosure.

The 'Success for All Educational Trust' is a newly formed trust that currently consists of Redden Court School and The Royal Liberty School.

The Royal Liberty School is a popular, over-subscribed 11-16 school for boys.  We are located a short walk from Gidea Park Station on a beautiful grade II listed site.

In 2017 we joined the Success for All Educational Multi Academy Trust.  We are making extensive use of our partnership with Redden Court School to continually raise standards of teaching and learning and student outcomes.

From September 2018 we are expanding by 1 form of entry (to 5 forms) to meet the increasing demand for places.  We have received funding for an extensive refurbishment of our buildings.

We are a small school and have a strong sense of community.  Boys are proud to be a part of the school and this reflected on their excellent behaviour and eagerness to take on roles of responsibility and to represent us in the local community.
