Values and vision

With its motto "be amazing", The Manchester College is an environment of aspirations and following dreams. To date, it is the largest college of further education anywhere in England, and the major provider of 16-18 and adult education in the Greater Manchester region. It also has one of the largest national contracts for offender learning.

Ofsted report

“Most learners attend the college from some of the most deprived neighbourhoods and make good progress, often making better progress than less disadvantaged learners in other colleges. The very large majority of learners complete their courses successfully and gain employment or continue their studies at the next level. Learners demonstrate good attitudes to learning as a result of the good development of their personal and social skills, through lessons and tutorials. Very good promotion of equality and diversity leads to a strong culture of mutual respect and safety.”
