Sport is very important to us with every student participating through our PE curriculum and extra-curricular activity programme. As a school, we offer our students a comprehensive programme of competitive and participatory sport in football, swimming, basketball and volleyball. Through our PE and extra-curricular programme students have opportunities to learn games and co-ordination through both our competitive and participatory formats. In addition, every student up to Year 9 swims once a week as part of the PE curriculum.

The school has its own 25m pool, full court gymnasium, 1/2 field astro and various other outdoor sports facilities. The school is in south central Seoul near the Han River with access to nearby community sports facilities such as a full size football astro for 11-a-side senior school matches, tennis, badminton, climbing, gym, squash, running and cycling. Seoul has plentiful opportunities for spectating professional sport e.g. thriving baseball, basketball, volleyball, football and golf national and international competition. The school runs a progressive outdoor activities programme from Year 1 to Year 12, featuring adventurous journeys and service in the Senior School, all included within school fees.

Applicants should be eligible for a work visa by either possessing a degree and at least two years international school teaching experience, or a degree and qualified teaching status. The successful candidate will coach Basketball and/or Volleyball to our Middle and Senior School students. There will be an expectation of being involved in these competitive sports on selected Saturdays during the academic year, plus training on a selected number of days during the sports season. In addition, there will be an emphasis placed to participate fully in the extra-curricular programme that is on offer during the off seasons. This includes selected number of days during the school week. International travel in Asia with teams will also be a feature of the role.
