They will be responsible for supporting key positive behaviour strategies, development of effective mentoring relationships with both children and their parents/carers, and will work closely with teaching and support staff on strategies and interventions which will positively impact on students’ achievement and wellbeing.

We welcome applications from both experienced behaviour mentors and from those with other relevant experience of working with children or young people who can demonstrate their ability to support students in an educational setting.

The Bushey Academy is 20 minutes by train from London Euston and enjoys a leafy setting close to the urban environment of Watford. It has a strong vision and ethos which has led to a rapid expansion in student numbers and impressive examination results. We have a positive reputation in the local area, benefit from strong parental support, are heavily oversubscribed and moved into our double award winning £30 million new building in January 2013. The academy has an active wellbeing committee, and was recognised in 2015 with the Investors in People Health and Wellbeing Award.
