Are you a Behaviour Mentor committed to improving the lives of children and young people?  We are looking for Behaviour Mentors to join our fantastic team at Acorn Park School, Banham. 

About the Role

To provide support for an individual pupil with ASD and who displays social, emotional, behaviour difficulties, helping them overcome barriers to learning inside and outside of school, in order to achieve their potential. The Behaviour Mentor will work with the pupil on a two-to-one basis or in small groups, under the instruction and guidance of the class teacher responsible.

The successful applicants will be educated to GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, enjoy working as part of a team, and be genuinely motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.

About us

Acorn Park is a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School and Residential home. We help care for and support young people who have complex needs and specialise in the communication and learning challenges associated with Autism.

The Site is situated within Norfolk’s picturesque and tranquil countryside, close to the town of Banham. Due to the location, it would be beneficial for candidates to have a driving licence.

The aim of the site is to provide enough support to unlock each child’s potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives. We provide the young people with as much freedom as possible in a safe and supervised environment. This is achievable due to the dedication and support from a range of employed professionals who are passionate, reliable and understanding

For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
