This is an exciting opportunity to work with our Pastoral Team within the College in a wide ranging and impactful role. We are seeking to appoint an experienced, skilled, enthusiastic, flexible and motivated individual to support the Student Support Department as a Behaviour Support Assistant.

The successful candidate will promote inclusion and raise attainment of students to achieve their full potential. They will work under guidance to provide support in addressing the needs of students who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning and behaviours that they exhibit. They will promote the safeguarding and wellbeing of students and investigate behaviours exhibited by students and resolve conflict through Restorative Approaches in liaison with other colleagues e.g. Heads of House.
Hours of work are 36.166 hours per week for 39 weeks per annum (1410.5 hours per annum) - term time + non-pupil days — Mon/Wed/Fri 8:50 to 16:20 with 30 minutes for lunch (7 hours per day), Tues/Thurs 8:15 to 16:20 with 30 minutes for lunch (7 hours and 35 minutes per day)
