Behaviour Support Worker – Culture for Learning

Required for March/April 2020

37 hours per week, Term-time only

Salary: NJC Scale 5 Point 12 - £21589 per annum pro rata (£18,516.71 per annum)

We are seeking to recruit someone who is; ideally experienced in the education sector working with vulnerable young people or students with behavioural needs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are an essential requirement of this post as well as a good standard of education including Maths and English GCSE at grade C (4) or above. (equivalent qualifications may be accepted.) 

The post is designed to support learning by dealing with those students who are disrupting the learning of others within the classroom. The post holder will be required to help to re-focus the student and help them to return to the classroom supported by our ‘Culture for Learning’ procedures. This is a varied post and responsibilities may be subject to change from time to time according to the varying needs of the academy.
