We are looking to recruit a qualified and talented member of our Behaviour Team to support pupils with behavioural and emotional issues to help them reach their potential and focus on learning. The role will include providing support to teachers and helping to resolve issues where pupils are disrupting teaching and learning. You would oversee the internal exclusion room and also provide on call support, touring the school and addressing live issues where learning is being disrupted and would involve de-escalating conflict.
The successful candidate will have proven experience managing and mentoring pupils with behaviour issues within secondary schools, and an awareness of the range of strategies available to address the differing behaviour issues which exist in the mixed ability classroom, focusing on ensuring barriers to learning can be removed and they can make better progress in school.
