Job overview

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for two teaching assistants. Experience with children with SEMH and EBD is essential for school in Salford.

The school itself has small classes with a teacher and a TA in each class. Both positions are from January until summer.

It is essential that you have experience providing assistance to students with challenging behaviour. You will be required to work with pupils to build positive relationships and help children overcome barriers to learning. Experience supporting the teaching of core subjects such as English, Maths and Science is desirable along with experience facilitating 1:1 or small group interventions.

The SEMH School in Salford currently has a cohort of children from ages 13-18.

To be successful in this role you must have/be:

Appropriate recent experience

Good behaviour management

Be committed and dedicated in the learning and development of children

Have a nurturing character
