Newstead Wood School is a high-achieving grammar school for girls with a mixed Sixth Form. We are situated in Orpington in the London Borough of Bromley and there are excellent rail links to both London Bridge and Victoria Stations.  

We are seeking to appoint, an experienced Biology Teacher to join our team from January 2018.  The successful candidate will be required to teach across all three Key Stages 3 to 5.  The school will consider applications from experienced teachers who want either a full time or part time position.  For the right candidate there is a high possibility of rapid career progression within the department.

Students at Newstead are highly motivated and very capable.  As a result, lessons move at a fast pace and students are routinely challenged in their thinking. All of the Sciences are very popular subjects and students come to their lessons with high expectations and a desire for active and complex learning.

Newstead Wood is a highly selective girls’ state secondary school, with a co-educational Sixth Form, close to Orpington Station, with direct links to London.
