Biology Technician Assistant

(18 hours per week Term Time Only (34 weeks) + 2 weeks in the holidays with some flexibility on times/days of working)

Epsom College, a vibrant independent co-educational day and boarding school on the edge of Epsom Downs, is seeking to recruit a part time Biology Technician Assistant to help support and assist the technicians with the preparation of Biology practicals, general prep room duties as well as caring for fish and other small animals.

Knowledge and experience of working in a practical hands-on environment are essential.  Experience within a school environment,  laboratory or science background would be desirable.  Importantly, the successful candidate will be organised, methodical, with a flexible approach and be able to work co-operatively within the department.  Competent IT skills would be a distinct advantage.
