The successful applicant will be responsible for acWe are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate, with a proven track record in boarding and pastoral care, to be Lower School Housemistress. This is an exciting time for boarding at Mayfield: we are currently extending and improving our boarding provision for girls in Years 7 and 8 and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take a leading role in developing the boarding provision in our Lower School.
The successful candidate must have a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the School and to the education of girls. He or she will be responsible for the care and well-being of our youngest boarders, manage the Boarding House staff and be expected to be involved in all aspects of Mayfield life, including teaching a reduced academic timetable (where applicable). Most curriculum subjects will be considered. Candidates with Prep School and relevant non-teaching experience are welcome to apply.
