We are seeking a well-qualified and inspirational teacher with pastoral experience to run our Upper Sixth Girls’ Boarding House from September 2019. The House accommodates approximately 60 girls, over half of whom will be boarders. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable dealing with young adults in their final year of school and in a mixed environment.
The position would suit someone with at least five years’ teaching and pastoral experience. Educational qualification to graduate level and professional teaching qualifications are expected. Any teaching subject will be considered, and the teaching responsibilities will be reduced to reflect the Housemistress’ responsibilities.
Ardingly has its own generous pay scale. Family accommodation is provided. A willingness to participate in the school’s busy co-curricular programme is essential.
