We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic instructor of brass with expertise as a music educator and the ability to instruct students of a wide age range. The role includes being prepared to take a lead in directing concert bands, jazz bands and brass ensembles. The post holder will work across both the junior and senior schools to encourage a love of music making and performance at all levels. The role is for a minimum of three days a week, although there is the possibility for the postholder to increase this, including by being involved in other areas of School life.

About Gordonstoun

The School
Gordonstoun is known for the wide range of activities that it provides for girls and boys throughout the School's 6-18 age range. Location
Gordonstoun stands in 200 acres of woodland, within walking distance of sandstone cliffs and sandy beaches on the beautiful coast of the Moray Firth in Scotland. Six miles away is the historic city of Elgin. Lossiemouth nearby is well known for its picturesque harbour, fine golf courses and Royal Air Force Station. The City of Aberdeen is about 90 minutes drive away, while an hour's drive takes you to the ski resort of Aviemore at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains. Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, is forty miles away and is itself only about an hour away from London (Gatwick) by air.
