British Sign Language Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant

Pay - £70 - £85 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is experience working with secondary age pupils and experience or a qualification in British Sign Language.

The role

British Sign Language Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant required to join a “good” school in Hounslow. This full-time position is to start ASAP. You will be working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and small group providing in class support.  We are ideally looking for someone who has experience or a qualification in British Sign Language.

Requirements

To be considered for this Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Experience or a qualification in British Sign Language  

• Strong academic background 

• Comfortable working with pupils across KS3/KS4 

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks

• Engaging, flexible and passionate about working with pupils
