Broomwood Director of Sports

This is an exciting time to be joining us too – with new branding, a new preschool and big renovation and investment plans. This is a unique opportunity to shape the vision for sports across our three schools, as for the first time in our history, we unify our provision for all pupils.  

Broomwood is looking for a Director of Sport with energy, initiative and experience who understands that sport must challenge children but, equally, be tailored to their needs, abilities and interests. We seek to instil a life-long love of sport in all our boys and girls. We are a highly successful independent school with a reputation for embracing new ideas, grounded in proven pedagogical practices. We provide a wide range of subjects to happy, motivated children who achieve their potential. Key to this is balance: physical activity is as essential to a well-rounded education, whether it be the skills teamwork brings, the focus of individual sports or simply the health benefits of an active life.  We must inspire interest and train minds to think for themselves, meet challenge and find solutions to ensure pupils are prepared for their futures 

The School is committed to further developing the PE curriculum and games provision across our schools, and the new Director of Sport will unite colleagues to share expertise and knowledge across our schools. As part of the Dukes family, he/she will also access a broad network colleagues and professional development opportunities which will enhance their own, and their team’s practice.
