Job overview
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, capable and reliable Bursar to provide high-level of support at Senior Leadership Level.
Capable of providing a professional, responsive service in a busy environment, you should be able to work independently and as a member of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Duties will include managing the school’s accounts, health & Safety and managing the external IT Team. Please refer to the job description for further details.
The hours are:
During term time:
Monday: 7.45am –5.00pm
Tuesday– Friday– 8.00am– 5.00pm
During term time you will be expected to work until 5.30pm, one evening a week.
During School Holidays:
Monday– Friday: 8.00am– 1.00pm
(25 Days Annual Leave excluding bank holidays– to be taken during school holidays only)

Avon House is a lively, independent, co-educational day school of around 275 pupils aged 3 to 11, situated in Woodford Green on the Essex/East London border.
The school has a Christian (non-denominational) ethos but welcomes children of all faiths.
