We currently have an opportunity for an experienced NVQ Business Administration Apprenticeship Trainer / Assessor based within the London area. The main purpose of this post is to assess learners’ needs and suitability for the Apprenticeship programmes, to support learners and monitor progress for the duration of their Apprenticeship programme and to assess and verify learning in a range of contexts.

The post holder is required to liaise with employers to provide assessment opportunities for candidates, carry out Health & Safety checks within the workplace, and Monitor, Evaluate and Improve the Quality and Effectiveness of Own Practice and of Learning Programmes and assessments.

The successful post holder will:

  • Have experience of delivering in an educational training or workplace environment with responsibility for candidates learning
  • Demonstrate experience of information learning technology
  • Hold a recognised Business Administration qualification to a minimum of a Level 3
  • Have relevant professional experience within the Business sector
  • Possess A1 or equivalent Assessors qualification
  • Hold V1 qualification or equivalent qualification (or be willing to train and worktowards this qualification)
  • Hold GCSE A* - C grade or Level 2 equivalent in Maths and English
  • Demonstrate a good level of computer literacy, including the use of Word, Excel,

Databases and Outlook

  • Possess the ability to embed basic Functional Skills in vocational programmes
  • Be required to establish good working relations with colleagues and students
  • Must hold current valid driving licence and have access to a car or be prepared totravel by public transport
  • Will be required to work flexibly throughout the week/over the year by prior agreement
