Queen Elizabeth’s Academy are seeking to appoint an efficient, well-organised and enthusiastic Administrator to join the Business Support Team. The main focus of the role will be administrating student admissions, supporting attendance and academy events, along with general day-to-day clerical duties. The successful candidate will be forward thinking, have excellent interpersonal and time management skills, have high expectations and be able to use their own initiative. 

Candidates will ideally have recent and relevant experience of working in a school office and will be able to undertake a range of office tasks accurately and efficiently under the leadership of the Business Team Leader. You will need to be a strong team player who will be able to support our business team and also have ability to work independently whilst managing a diverse workload.

Job Title: Business Administrator

Working Hours: 37 per week, term time only

Salary: Grade 4 (Actual salary £17,497 -  £ 18,940 pa) 

Contract: Permanent

Start date: January 2022

Closing date: 16 December 2021

The successful candidate will ideally have:     

  • Excellent administrative and ICT skills     
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Word and Excel     
  • Experience of using SIMS or a similar information management software package     
  • Be able to reach deadlines under pressure, and prioritise workload     
  • The ability to multi-task     
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing     
  • The ability to work as part of a busy team
