Business and Economics Teacher

Chobham Academy opened in September 2013 after joining the highly successful group of Harris Academies. This 3-18 Academy is a world class educational legacy of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Situated within the new East Village complex, the Academy serves the community to be established in 2,800 new homes, along with existing communities in Newham, Waltham Forest and nearby London Boroughs. We are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic, and outstanding Business and Economics Teacher to join our Academy of committed staff who share a common sense of purpose and high expectations of what students can achieve. Applicants should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate the ability to raise the achievement of all students.

What we are looking for:

• The ability to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students across KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Someone who will monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
• A teacher who can provide a motivating and structured learning experience, which will provide students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
• Ability to contribute significantly to raising standards of students attainment as a teacher and form tutor.
