We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Business & Finance Manager to join our very successful and over-subscribed school situated on the outskirts of the New Forest in Lymington. This post sits on the Senior Leadership Team of the school, reporting directly to the Headteacher and through him to the Board of Governors, and will direct all of the school’s business operations whilst contributing enthusiastically to all aspects of school life.
The successful candidate will be a people person with outstanding influencing, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to inspire and lead a diverse and capable group of support staff and develop a strong spirit among them.
The Business & Finance Manager will play a crucial role in all strategic, operational, commercial, and financial aspects of the school, and will report to governors on these matters by attending regular meetings. The successful candidate must have an excellent understanding of budgeting, forecasting and strategic long-term planning alongside extensive business experience which demonstrates a strong record of success in operational and financial management within organisations of relevant scale and complexity.
