This role is part of the national apprenticeship scheme (Currently £3.50 per hour)

We wish to appoint a dynamic Business Apprentice to join a friendly administrative team on the reception desk. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an outstanding school and will provide you with many opportunities for the future if you wish to pursue a career in working with young people and in administration.

Salary: £3.50 Per Hour
Hours: 30 Hours Per Week, Monday - Thursday 8.15am – 3.15pm and Friday 8.35am – 3.05pm
Contract: Fixed Term One Year, Term Time Only
Required from September 2017

The successful candidate will be able to present the school as a welcoming, caring school and provide excellent customer service to students, parents/carers and staff alike. They will also be computer literate, with excellent telephone skills, good numeracy and literacy skills to enable them to provide general clerical and finance support. He/she will join a friendly and hardworking administration team who are committed to providing an excellent service to the school.

Based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, Belvidere School is a co-educational comprehensive secondary school for children aged between 11 and 16. It is a non-denominational community establishment. At present, there are approximately 850 students enrolled at the school.

In Summer 2024 we will be moving into a brand new state-of-the-art school building, which is an exciting development in the life of our school.
