We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and motivated Business Manager who will contribute to the wider strategic development of George Abbot School. The post holder will have a general responsibility to contribute to the success of the school by facilitating the most efficient and economical deployment of resources. Playing a key role within the school’s Senior Leadership Team in setting and meeting the school's strategic objectives and being responsible for the effective deployment and monitoring of the financial, human and physical resources of the school.
George Abbot School is a large 11-18 mixed comprehensive, situated on the north side of Guildford, within easy reach of the town, the A3 and London Road railway station. It is a forward-looking and dynamic school which has a reputation for excellence in every area. George Abbot became an Academy in 2011 and went on to be a founding member of the GEP multi academy trust. We also have Teaching School status.

George Abbot School is a forward thinking academy providing an inclusive education, for around 2,000 young people, aged 11-18. We are located in Burpham, Guildford with good transport links to the surrounding area.
