Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join a successful team of specialists to continue the development and expansion of Business courses throughout the school. Experience of teaching A Level Economics would be a distinct advantage and/or experience of delivering Personal Finance, AAT or related qualifications. A responsibility allowance would be available for an appropriately qualified and experienced candidate.

Business is an important part of the curriculum at Thomas Telford School and many students study GCSE Business at Key Stage 4 following the AQA Specification with a controlled assessment. Business is also a popular option at Post 16, with a third of the large Sixth Form following either A Level Business (AQA) or the BTEC National qualification (6 units).

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated specialist to join a talented and successful team of professionals and to be involved in the expansion of the range of courses offered by the Department. If you are proactive, enthusiastic and ideally have some experience gained in industry, we would welcome your application.
