Thames Valley School is a forward-thinking Autism Specific Specialist Free School seeking a Business Support co-ordinator to join our team. Our school helps autistic students build on their strengths, learning, confidence and enjoyment. Our aim is to respond to the needs of each of our students, helping them to grow in confidence and achieve.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking to appoint a business support co-ordinator with proven experience of business administration and finance processes on a permanent contract to start as soon as possible.

You will be supporting the operational business and financial aspects of the school including, processing purchase orders, invoices, reconciliation of monthly actuals and supporting with general administration and business functions.

To be successful, you will be able to manage own time and workload effectively and have good problem-solving skills.  You will be able to work well as part of a team as well as independently using your own initiative.

The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive office team with responsibility to provide a professional and comprehensive administration and finance service within the school.

Hours of work:

You will be contracted to work 35 hours per week, term time only plus 2 weeks during school closure.   Normal hours may be varied to meet the changing needs of the school. There may be occasions when additional hours are necessary to meet specific or special requirements.
