Are you a passionate Business Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a passionate team where you can access fantastic facilities?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business department. Business is an increasingly popular subject choice at both KS4 and KS5 with increasing success in recent years. You will have an opportunity to shape the curriculum taught and to instil a passion for business and enterprise amongst our students. Both NQTs and experienced Teachers are encouraged to apply.

We are looking for a determined and enthusiastic teacher who can:

  • engage and enthuse our learners through a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning;
  • contribute to the further development of a strong and forward looking team;
  • be innovative in your techniques to motivate and inspire young people;
  • build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike.

The new Stanground Academy opened on 1 April 2012 and is one of the Greenwood Academies Trust’s Group of Academies, replacing the predecessor Stanground College. The Academy has since undergone a £24M building project and now boasts state of the art” buildings providing academic, vocational and sports facilities for pupils and staff.  These include fully-equipped specialist rooms, extensive sports facilities, a dance studio, a theatre and high tech ICT equipment.
