In September 2018 Astrea Academy Sheffield will open its doors. Astrea Academy Sheffield will be the Astrea Academy Trust’s first all-through academy which will embody our vision for an education that truly ‘inspires beyond measure’, whilst representing a beacon at the heart of a part of the city undergoing significant regeneration.
With an investment in excess of £25M, the purpose built academy will be cutting edge, including science and technology laboratories, modern classrooms, a 300 seated hall, 4G pitch, an underground sports hall, outside amphitheater and forest school learning area. This ground breaking campus is truly breathtaking and will also combine a Grade II listed building.
The school will grow with its community and will reach capacity within four years of opening. When all year groups are filled, the school will accommodate the education and personal development of 1370 pupils right through from Nursery to Sixth Form.
The Campus Manager will be responsible for the security, health & safety and maintenance of the building and grounds. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of buildings and estates, having previously managed buildings/grounds/facilities. They will also have experience of using IT systems and budgets, be able to work flexibly, will have experience of managing external contractors on site, will have the ability to prioritise their own workload and will be able to demonstrate high standards and expectations along with a can-do attitude.
