Care Needs Support Assistant

Paid:  NJC Grade 2 – Term Time (including Outer London Weighting)

Little Heath School is a secondary school for pupils with learning difficulties located in pleasant leafy surroundings on the edge of the London Borough of Redbridge.

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to support our young people with a range of general or complex learning and behavioural needs including autistic spectrum disorder. The role will require close work with class teachers and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for our young people, and draw upon personal qualities of resilience, patience and good humour. Experience of SEN is desirable, but further training will be given for the exceptional candidate. 

Little Heath School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Such posts will require a DBS disclosure check and references will be taken up prior to interview.
