About Wolfreton School and Sixth Form College

We are a large, vibrant, ‘Good’ school, (Ofsted 2021), serving the Haltemprice area of the East Riding of Yorkshire. We value high standards and aspirations and aim to support students in achieving their best in academic, sporting, linguistic and artistic interests. The Sixth Form is a large and successful institution and is an integral part of the school.

We are fortunate in having an excellent team of staff, both teaching and support, and a great amount of time is given for extra-curricular activities. These activities support our strong pastoral system which further develops our core values of excellence, endeavour and respect. All students benefit from the support of a Head of Year and Pastoral Manager. They work hard to ensure that each individual is known and matters. Each student and staff member is also allocated a House and takes part in competitions and charitable events as part of their House, ensuring that everyone is part of their own team, as well as being part of the school team and wider Trust.
