Working from the Trust’s central team across two South Yorkshire schools, you will report directly to the National Careers Lead with the opportunity to contribute to wider careers work in the Trust on a regional basis. Part-time or job share opportunities will be considered where possible.

The successful applicant will: 

  • Provide effective professional guidance services in order to improve students' skills, knowledge and understanding for career planning and management. 
  • Reflect on practice and engage in continuous professional development to further develop the skills and knowledge required for professional practice and to keep up to date with developments in the sector.
  • Be driven to provide equality of opportunity and motivated by making a positive impact on the future of students. 
  • Develop strong professional relationships with a wide network of employers, and communicate with external agencies for the benefit of students and the enhancement of the career guidance programme. 
  • Have relevant qualifications and recent experience of acheiving positive outcomes for young people.
