The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of current good CEIAG practice, proactive in keeping this knowledge up to date, highly organised, and have excellent communication skills enabling them to build strong relationships with a range of people including; pupils, parents, teaching and support staff and outside agencies.  They will have an enthusiastic, innovative and dynamic approach to CEIAG and in the delivery of the careers and employability programme throughout the school

The Careers and Employability Adviser will work predominantly with the Head of Careers and Employability to deliver the CEIAG strategy. They will also work closely with the Directors of Faculty (DoF), Heads of Department (HoD), Heads of House (HoH), the Head of Sixth Form and Head of PSHE to deliver a coordinated, engaging, comprehensive, and dynamic careers and employability programme as directed and managed by the Head of Careers and Employability.

This is a part time position working 3 days per week, (22.5 weekly contractual hours) for 37 weeks per year including all of school term time, inset days and 2 weeks during school holidays.

You will receive a salary of between £12,207 and £13,116 per annum depending on experience. The salary range is pay scale is NJC pt 28 to 30 pro-rata, being £24,964 to 26,822 FTE x 22.5 /37.5 hours per week x 42.38/52 weeks per year (37 working weeks plus 5.38 weeks paid holiday). Pro-rata paid holiday entitlement is 5.38 weeks each year including bank/public holidays. Other benefits include School lunch during term time, free parking on site, a defined contribution pension scheme and staff remission on school fees in accordance with the staff remission policy.
