Exeter College is a large tertiary provider in the South West of England offering a wide-ranging curriculum provision from vocational and technical qualifications, through to A levels, adult learning, and apprenticeships programmes. We are therefore delighted to share this opportunity to join the Teaching, Learning and Development team as a Careers and Employer Encounters Manager. This role will be pivotal in championing the importance of a responsive and meaningful careers education in a post-16 context, ensuring we meet the needs of our learners in preparing them for their next steps. The post will include responsibility for coordinating a range of high impact and meaningful work experience, industry placement and employer encounter opportunities for our learners. We are keen to hear from applicants who have a track record of building partnerships with external stakeholders and working with a range of employers to establish partnership working. The successful candidate will be passionate about the value of careers education in all its form and willing to work across a diverse range of curriculum areas. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work on your own initiative and have an inspirational approach to working with a range of stakeholders.
