Careers Officer

Longfield Academy has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Careers Officer to join their academy, starting from January 2023. You'll be passionate about working with young people and will thrive in the knowledge that you are playing a key role in their futures once they leave compulsory education.

Working towards meeting all of the Gatsby benchmarks, the role will provide an excellent opportunity to further develop our existing careers and employer engagement offering. Communication skills and the capacity to develop, communicate and implement innovative ideas for the Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) delivery is essential.

Given the varied nature of the role, the successful candidate must be approachable and have a pro-active and flexible attitude to all tasks. In return, you will work alongside experienced and supportive colleagues and the role has the opportunity for professional development.

This is a fixed term opportunity until July 2023 in the first instance, offering an actual salary of £11,652 - £12,783 per annum (£22,864 - £25,082 full time equivalent), commensurate with experience based on 22.5 hours per week, Term Time only.
