Forge Valley School is an 11-18 Academy. Our school ethos is founded on the principal that ambition and endeavour are key components in achieving success. Currently serving around 1500 pupils, our new, purpose-built learning environment has excellent facilities to help us deliver our curriculum.

Chaucer School is an 11-16 Academy, serving approximately 900 students. This role is pivotal to our mission to drive ambition and aspiration across our community. In addition to careers provision, the successful candidate will coordinate high quality enrichment and cultural capital opportunities. There will be the opportunity to enable genuine social mobility on a large scale.

We are seeking to appoint a Careers Officer to work across Forge Valley and Chaucer School. The successful candidate will be required to implement and support a Careers Strategy in-line with the school development plan and delivery of an effective Careers programme and achievement of the Gatsby Benchmarks, be suitably qualified to provide high-quality, impartial careers information, advice and guidance to students, prospective students and community clients. The role will also involve building links with employers, external providers and school staff to support with information advice and guidance activities.
