BCS is a rapidly growing co-educational independent school situated on the South coast.

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our committed team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take on an important role in the school.

We are looking for a reliable and resourceful individual with good basic DIY skills for the effective and efficient operation of site services such as cleaning, maintenance, minor repairs and porterage. Good initiative and organisational skills are essential.

This position has the possibility of being residential.

The main areas of responsibility are to ensure the school buildings, grounds, facilities and services are maintained to a high standard to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.

You will be a conscientious, friendly, well organised individual with a can-do attitude, who will take pride in their surroundings. Any previous experience carrying out maintenance in an education establishment would be a distinct advantage.

You will need to be flexible as the post may need you to work some unsocial hours.
