We are seeking a Caretaker with site security / premises management experience and general maintenance skills to play a key role ensuring Brighton Girls is a safe, welcoming and well-maintained school.
This role is a great opportunity to receive training and develop your skills and experience further.
Working with our Premises Manager, you will perform emergency and routine maintenance across the school, such as plumbing, electrical works and other repairs.
You will also be responsible for site security, as well as carrying out tests on fire alarms and checks of fire exit routes and fire doors.
As part of the role, we will provide health and safety, fire and first aid training.
You will need experience of identifying maintenance needs, monitoring fire risks, and conducting preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, as well as experience of minor plumbing and electrical works.
The role can be physically demanding and you will need the ability to move furniture and deliveries around the site.
