Focus School – Cottingham Campus

(Due to relocate to Ridgeway Campus, Scunthorpe in September 2018)

Focus Cottingham Campus is seeking to appoint an experienced and committed Caretaker/Site Technician to oversee the maintenance and health & safety of our school site. In addition to this, as Site Technician, you will ensure compliance with COSH and assist both the Science and Technology departments with preparation of resources. Working hours are 7:00-11:00 am, 2:00-6:00 pm (52 weeks per year). This post is initially for 1 year with a possibility of becoming permanent.

The school provides an outstanding level of education for all pupils. In 2017 Cottingham Campus made the top 100 school list for its GCSE results, placing 32 out of all schools in the country including state and independent schools, both selective and non-selective (DFE 2017). In September 2018, the school is due to move to Scunthorpe.

The start of the new school year sees our transition from the Victorian school in Cottingham to a new 40,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility in Scunthorpe.
