The Forest School is a successful and friendly 11-16 School, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our students and staff. It is an exciting time in the history of the school as from September ‘21 the school will have its first co-educational intake. There is been a rolling development programme to the school site and there will be further investment over the coming years.  We are seeking to appoint an exceptional groundsman/caretaker to join our outstanding premises team.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this role is to undertake a range of grounds work, mowing the lawns and keeping the site maintained, lockup duties for evening lets, and working with the current team for caretaking and decorating work.  Your aim will be to deliver a quality service in a school which sets and expects high standards.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• to be enthusiastic and well-motivated 

• to have a flexible attitude with the ability to use your own initiative

• the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team 

• an enthusiasm for outdoor work and DIY
