Local Government Pay Scale: Scale 6 £26,865 to £28,440. 

Status: 1 Year fixed term contract 

Full Time/ Flexible: 06:00 till 12:30 or 11:30 till 18:00 on alternating weeks.

The hours are 08:00 till 16:00 during the school holidays.

We are seeking to appoint two resourceful, reliable people with initiative and a broad range of DIY skills necessary for the effective and efficient operation of site services, including working with maintenance contractors, central heating, gardening, cleaning, security, porterage, reallocation of furniture and equipment, minor repair and maintenance. 

The ability to work on his/her own initiative and excellent organizational skills are essential - as is a sense of pride in the school environment. Successful applicants should want to be part of the school team and be able to relate well with pupils and adults.

This post requires someone who is able to work flexibly. There may be occasions during term time where you are required to work at weekends which will be paid as additional hours.
