Job overview

Tor Bridge Primary School wish to appoint a caretaker to support the school in maintaining and developing our premises so that they are secure, safe and welcoming for staff, pupils and visitors. The person will work with the Trust Site Manager to complete a range of general caretaking duties such as securing the site, dealing with deliveries, decorating as well as more specific repair and remediation work based on the schools priorities.

The successful candidate needs to be flexible, enjoy working in a school team, as well as under their own initiative and be happy responding to the unexpected! 

Hours of work: 37 hours per week for 52 weeks per year

Shift Pattern:   Monday – Friday 07.15 – 11.30 and 14.45 – 18.00 (during term time)

Holidays: 5 – 6 weeks holiday to be taken during school holidays, actual dates to be agreed

Closing Date: Sunday 12th July 2020

Interview Date: ASAP after the closing date
