The Directors of Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust and Governors of St Patrick’s wish to appoint a Caretaker.

A key feature of the post is flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplined team under the direction of the Headteacher with the aim to ensure facilities are

maintained to the highest possible standard.

We are seeking a reliable, organised and conscientious worker who will take pride in the appearance of the school.

Duties will include daily, weekly and monthly statutory checks (fire alarm, legionella, emergency lighting etc.) grounds keeping, minor repairs and other maintenance tasks including cleaning of the school.

Good initiative and organisational skills are essential.

This post is 25 hours per week, wholetime, including school holiday working, the hours of work will need to meet the needs of the school, which does include a split shift.

You will receive 26 - 31 days annual leave, pro rata (depending on length of service, plus all bank holidays to be taken during school closure periods.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and positively encouraged.
